On stage Jojo is a proficient guitarist who is actively performing in the local Las Vegas music circuit. Born on the island of Java, she was classically trained on piano. Inspired by KISS and Iron Maiden she took up the guitar, formed her own all-female rock band, and earned two major recording contracts while still in high school. She obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Music Performance and Composition in Los Angeles; she became the guitarist for Shrapnel/Geffen Records all-female band Phantom Blue and co-founded the all-female tribute band The Iron Maidens in 2001, which she left in 2005 to pursue film music. She was awarded Best Female Guitarist title three times in Los Angeles. She has been featured in Cosmopolitan magazine as a Fun Fearless Female and appeared in publications such as Guitar World, Metal Edge, and MTV Coffee Table Book.
Jojo joined the cast of Blue Man Group Las Vegas as a guitarist in 2011. In 2015 she was recruited by illusionist Criss Angel himself to tour with his show Criss Angel Presents THE SUPERNATURALISTS as the Lead Resident Music Artist / Guitarist. She was sought out by one of Justin Timberlake’s studio producers to perform at the 2016 Grammy Party. She composed the original score for Full Moon Features film “Reel Evil” (2012), and various other Full Moon projects. She scored the horror anthology feature film “Patient Seven” (2019) starring Michael Ironside (Total Recall, Starship Troopers). She recently completed a film score for actor-director Jim Klock (Greenbook, The Whole Truth) and his company for his latest horror film “Red Letters” (for a 2020 release), a Christmas film “Three Bears Christmas” (for Christmas 2019 release) directed by actor-director William Butler (Friday the 13th Part VII, Night of the Living Dead (1990)) and Full Moon Pictures’ wacky new horror comedy “Weedjies: Halloweed Night” (released on Halloween 2019).
